Bruce, I have one I'll send you. PM me with your mailing address again. It's on an aluminum 195.6 and I won't use it. Sorry, thought I did. All I've got for 1bbls is a fugly Carter RBS which I'll generously call, "rebuildable". Yes, it's "rebuildable". As a guess, the needle and set are crapped up or the float sunk. If your gas tank is filled with rust #1 is likely. Pop the top off (dont' mangle the float lifting it off, its all delicate and likes to hang up on junk in there). If there's dirt on the floor of the bowl there you go. You can clean it easily. If the float sunk, you are, umm, sunk until you get a new one. It wouldn't hurt to have a two-legged fuel filter between the pump and the carb. > I think the quickest and cheapest would be to take my carb off, mail > it in somewhere (recommendations?) and get it done right. Last i heard nationalcarburetor.com will do a lifetime warranty for about $150. They used to have some for less. With cores so crappy these days I wouldn't do anything less ('cept buy new ones). _______________________________________________ AMC-list mailing list AMC-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx http://list.amc-list.com/listinfo.cgi/amc-list-amc-list.com -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
