I have a 727 sitting in my garage which is attracted to my bare feet daily, so toes sort of beat up. Yup, I know the differences between a 904 and 727, I think there might have been language difference barrier there, but it's a 904 believe me, crawled under it today jacked up and it is not anywhere near as long as the toe eating 727 in garage, which is similiar to the kite eating tree Charlie Brown used to battle. I took the Concord for nice drive tonight, no gauges, radio, overlay, all pulled out, started to rain so lucky for me had pliers to turn wipers on. Thing runs great, cold AC 50,000 miles too. It's 904 if it is the stock transmission and I think you know that Eddie. If you pull the old gear and see what color it is you can go to a Chrysler Jeep dealer and order the same color gear. The gear will also have the number of teeth stamped on it. The color varies by number of teel on the gear. I pulled gauges and dash area to see if the cable spins when driving, nothing happened. Figured would be good time to change a few burned out little gauge cluster bulbs anyways. It looks like I will be needing the speedometer cable tooth gear that goes inside the trans. Anyone know where to get one, my mechannic said it is a 727 in there with the 258-6, I say it is a 904, the book shows several plastic gears with variety of teeth. Feel free to reply here as I will be reading and thanks in advance to all who might reply.
