The white 70 Javelin didn't come from the factory with a passenger side mirror. It took me a few tries to find the correct mirror base and housing with good glass. I cut a screwdriver apart and welded it into an angle so it would reach inside the housing and loosen the screws. I painted the housing body color and placed it on the passenger door approximately the same distance back and in the same position as the driver mirror. I moved it around a bit and decided no matter where that mirror sits on the passenger door, you can't see much out of it. So I matched it's location to the driver side mirror, drilled the holes and screwed it in place. I'm still not sure I have the correct black plastic base gasket. It doesn't quite sit at the correct angle, I've been looking for a known 70 right side mirror gasket ever since.
