Re: [AMC-list] Marlins at PnPulls

That's easy Bruce! You have "Pull-A-Part" in Atlanta. Go to www.pullapart.com and they have a search feature. You can put in the location and search for any car you want. You can do the same thing at www.picknpull.com. There are no locations near Atlanta -- closest are Tallahasse and Panama City, FL, then Virginia Beach, VA. You have THREE Pull-A-Part locations in Atlanta alone, then one in Augusta too. Augusta GA and Columbia SC are close to me -- Columbia about an hour away and Augusta about an hour and fifteen minutes.

Note that both tell you if they have a "1978 AMC Concord" or whatever, and even where it is in the lot (what row it's on anyway), but they DO NOT tell you what's left on it or what condition it's in. That would be way too much hassle! When a car comes in they make a bar code label for it and plug it in the computer then stick it out on the lot. When they crush it they scan the label and take it out of the database. So when looking for something specific make sure there are several cars with interchangeable parts on the lot or you may be disappointed. When I have to go for something I'll look around at any AMCs and see if there's anything worth mentioning on the list or worth taking there. Nothing so far.

They generally leave a car out for six months then crush it. These are really crusher operations, they just sell a few parts first! There is a crusher on site.

I'm going to have to see how you chase down whats at a Pick n Pull.
That sounds cool! ('65 Marlins - I like the interior on Marlins -
pretty snazzy!)
