Halfway into redoing the front end on the javelin. Thanks for all the help so far. Got another question. Doing the bushings on the upper control arms and the ones I bought from Kennedy don't look the same as the factory ones that were on the car. The old ones have a flat washer on one side and a curved washer on the other side of the bushing. The new ones don't have the washers on either end, but I can see where they would go. I talked to Kennedy and they said that is the way the came even back in the day. He said he can't remember what he did on his but some sledge the washers on the bushings and some don't. I wouldn't see how it would work right if you didn't get the washers on either side of the bushing, but thought I'd ask here and see if anyone has any experience/opinions. I'll have to go the a fastener store and see what i can get to fit them. I had to tear the old ones up pretty good to get them off. Oh by the way, I assume its probably a small AMC world, so if the guys from Kennedy American are on here, sorry, not that I didn't believe you, I was just getting more info....
