Oh really you can't name them? <G> Hopefully this is not a portent of things to come for them! The new engine came w/o pan, oil pick-up, intake, front case, etc. It also came w/o oil pump to block gasket, oil pump drive rod, oil filter adapter and I'm sure something else, I had to leave the shop to go on a run and turn in the core. Now I've only bought one other crate engine in the past as I prefer to buy existing known engines or rebuild a core. Grey beards from the Salem area will remember Rods Machine Shop, they sold a complete engine that had the pan installed, timing cover, etc. They even included a filter. They had a stellar reputation and the engines were real plug and play engines. This engine requires so many things that the buyer needs to transfer, for $1800 I think it should have been more complete. Anyways, this company sure left a sour taste in my mouth and they are in a transfer mode (new name, same people) so I think they stepped in it. Shucks almighty, I wish I could name them......Russ _________________________________________________________________ Hotmail is redefining busy with tools for the New Busy.
