It's worked exactly as planned, no downside, all my oiling problems were simply bizarro wierd spring and plunger problems, now solved. It's totally fine. I have many photos and text, will put online soon. The cooling system mod has worked PERFECTLY, I have more instrumentation in the head than Nash engineering probably did. Temp rises straight to 185 then stops and stays 185-190 with no changes. Zero overshoot. Pulling water past the thermostat with a 3/8" hose into a tee into the heater suction inlet in the pump. Needs a tapped hole in the bottom of the thermostat housing, or you could commandeer the temp sensor hole, but those are nice to have. Maybe a tee there would do it. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
