The Renaults eat CPS's for breakfast lunch and dinner. I'd have went that way before ordering the module. Yeah, you have to bleed them or they airlock. IIRC Joe Wagner (I hope I got that name right) is way into rhinos. Maybe wagnell? do a search and see if you can find him. He would be a great source of info I think. If it starts and runs STOP. Do not Pass GO, replace that belt and idler pulley ASAP! They will fail as much from age as from mileage. Start out with new pieces.
