late update: just got put onto mopar pro shop by a fellow on the
strokers group.  check out http://www.moparproshop.com/jeep_engines
for just about the ultimate replacement for the 258 in your spirit amx
or sx/4, and http://www.moparproshop.com/performance_engines - in
addition to the 392 stroker, they now have 426 and 440 inch versions
of the 6.1 hemi, with up to 630 hp / 600 ft-lbs.  their 572 elephant
hemi is scarcely more powerful, 650/660!  very spendy at over $20k,
but imagine it in a '64-'65...  heck, their full-roller 4.7 i6 would
be pretty nice too - 265 hp / 360 ft-lbs - and it's a relative bargain
at under $7000.		;^>
