As tom said. Don't skip having the fly wheel resurfaced. There are guys that just toss in a new disc and go. But that is a total crap shoot. Not worth the risk to skip that step. Pilot bushing is another thing you definitely won't to be sure of. If it shows any wear at all replace it now. You can usually get a fly wheel holder tool at advance or other places that loan tools if your friend does not have one. ------Original Message------ From: Bruce Griffis Sender: amc-list-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx To: AMC, Rambler, Nash, Jeep and family ReplyTo: AMC, Rambler, Nash, Jeep and family Subject: [AMC-list] When swapping out the clutch, anything else to address while in that vicinity? Sent: Apr 17, 2010 10:29 AM My son's friend will be doing the clutch on my '65 Rambler next weekend. While in that vicinity, are there any seals we should replace? Anything else we should check out that would not put us into the category of taking advantage of someone? _______________________________________________ AMC-list mailing list AMC-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx http://list.amc-list.com/listinfo.cgi/amc-list-amc-list.com Sent from my BlackBerry® wireless device from U.S. Cellular _______________________________________________ AMC-list mailing list AMC-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx http://list.amc-list.com/listinfo.cgi/amc-list-amc-list.com
