Art Colussy (SP?) Believed at one time that he had the 1st conv Alliance. He fount it sitting unsold on a dealerlot 2-3 YEARS after they intro'd the convs. The serial number was a bunch of zeros ending in 5 or 6. Art was training guy for AMC. At the time he said he had done a quick check to see how they had placed serial numbers and was told that all alliances were serialed as built so that low of a number was likely the first conv. I never did hear if he actually confirmed it as #1. Don't know what happened to either Art or the car.
