How'd you work out the plumbing? Is it all flare fittings? I tried to mix flare and O-ring to do more or less what you have but ended up buying a VintageAir under dash unit. Then I had no problems with the different hose and fitting size issues. (It's a long boring story, but basically the valve on my evaporator was bust, the suction hose required weird adapters anyways, and the underdash unit solved all that.) I have the underdash guts for a 63/64 CLassic/Ambo if anyone wants it cheap. Needs a new expansion valve, but the core doesn't leak at all. -- Frank SwygertPublisher, "American Motors Cars" Magazine (AMC)
