You are talking about the Brute. I am not. I am talking about the vehicle in the articles, which is not the Brute. The J8 is not a kit. It is a production vehicle (export). Go to the AEV site under Vehicles/Services and you will see it. If you re-read the articles, you will see that they make references to what they call the "JT" (the J8) possibly coming out in 2008 - because the article was written in at least 2007.. -Spro ----- Original Message ----- From: Frank Swygert <farna@xxxxxxx> To: amc-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Mon, 29 Mar 2010 16:44:51 +0000 (UTC) Subject: Re: [AMC-list] New Jeep Pickup? The articles I quoted are from late 2009. I'm aware of the AEV truck. It's not a production Jeep, it's a kit built by AEV to modify a Wrangler. AEV may build some turn-key trucks, but it's still a modified production vehcile. The Jeep truck in the article is a single body, not a cab/bed unit like the AEV kit. For what it's worth, AEV has the better idea -- basically a new Jeep CJ-10 pickup. ------------ Date: Mon, 29 Mar 2010 01:36:36 -0400 From: "Spro" <msproviero@xxxxxxxxxxx> Those articles are years old. They have been in production and AEV has been selling them domestically for some time now. -Spro -----Original Message----- From: Frank Swygert Sent: Thursday, March 18, 2010 7:01 PM Subject: [AMC-list] New Jeep Pickup?
