Actually Dave, the 232 WAS used in some farm equipment in the late 60s and early 70s by International Harvester. About the same period they were buying them for Scouts. I've seen one on a smallish combine, not sure about anything else. I've also seen a few AMC V-8s used on irrigation pumps -- have some pics of a 401 set up that way!
