I hope not too. As I have a 68 Vigilante and turbo 400 sitting in my garage! I've examined it pretty closely and found no differences at all. Mine has 37K on it. I think I will likely freshen it up before installing. Current plan is to use the 4bbl pistons and rods from a 60k engine. The difference in compression will not be a deal breaker anyway, so I may not. If you do need any parts, I currently have 3 327's 1 287. Keep the D#*ned things apart! I swear they are like rabbits, they multiply like crazy!
