straight 8s and v12s are the only car engines naturally better
balanced than a straight 6. dunno which is tops though.
nash content: the 234.8 had shell insert bearings starting in '33-4,
but the straight 8 had babbitt bearings like an older nash six,
according to egge machine. i wouldn't be surprised if both were
derivatives of that '20s design.
