I took advantage of the good weather today and got some paint on the driver's rear quarter of the 65 American. At least the primer is covered and I can put the bumpers and moldings back on it and get it licensed. I was painting outside so I always have to hold my breath about the debris. I got lucky today: no bugs yet and the trees are not seriously shedding pollen or flower petals. Dupont Centauri sets up fast with hardener so that helped too. The time to "dust free" state was only about 15 minutes or less. The car is sagging on the left side. I replaced the rear leaf springs with new ones from ESPO. It looks like I'm going to have to do the front coils too. The car is 7/8 inch lower on the left side in front and 1/2 inch in the rear. It's just a driver and I could let it go, but I'd like to correct it. I'm willing to try used springs if anyone has spare good springs for a mid-sixties American six cylinder car or wagon.
