Bart asked if that was my old SC/Rambler wagon on the badassgremlin yahoo group and here
was conversation, figured some of ya'll on the amc-list would like to check it out:
Hi and yes, that is my old SC/Rambler wagon, good to see it is still out there, as right
after I sold it to the guy in West Palm Beach they got smacked with hurricane Wilma, and
figured might have taken damage but still looks great, sure miss that darned thing! Looks
like he has continued to work on it which is a good thing!
I wished he would show more angled photos of the car. It had a SC/Rambler stripe kit I
customized, on back and roof, had AIR and the 390 arrow on the hood

there were about 777 290V8 440 wagons made in 1969. And mine was one of two, count them,
two, factory P39 Matador Red ones known to still exist. I had a lot of fun with that car
here at meets and drove it all the time, and would contstaly draw a crowd wherever I
parked it. It did have a wobbly front suspension and the 290 was getting tired, but looks
like good upgrade he did. Would like to see more photos of the dash conversion he did
also.
