" Does Rambler have the dubious honor of being the last American passenger car
" flat head engine?
afaik yes. otoh, the original dodge power wagon 4x4 [ww2 m37
descendant] survived up to '68 with a flathead.
" Or, another trivia question I asked years ago and got no answer, is Rambler
" the last car manufacturer to have lumber in the car in a non-decorative
" place? (My 63 Classic Cross Country has a *plywood* rear seat back, 64
" probably does too...)
i could swear my '66 american also did, but it's long gone now.
