I won't go to any of "those" places. 
Had an 88 Nissan in 1992. Needed a st inspection. They told me it needed
Centerlink
3 studs and nuts
New rotors
Plus a couple of other things. 
I worked on the truck myself and knew it did not need this stuff. So I said "show me". 
  They could not show me why it needed the centerlink or rotors!
   I asked why it needed the studs/nuts. They said they are stripped. 
   Well I was the only one who ever drove or worked on the truck, showed him My valid ASE card. Told him an air impact had never been on those studs nuts and if they were stripped it was done there!
   He was pissed at this point, but offered to throw in the studs and nuts if I paid labor!
   I told him no thanks and had them put it back together and drove it out on the remaining three lugnuts, never to return.

ok, ill give you that one, it was pretty good. and to think, midas of all
things came up with that. 

speaking of midas, a midas in the boise area is under big bad juju. i guess
they put the wrong oil filter on some ladies car, blew all the oil out,
toasted the motor, she is suing them ect. not to mension, the local media has
dug up a bunch of claims, and bad reports to the BBB on this one and all. i
sure wont go to them.
