Hi Matt, Sorry, just getting to catching up on the list so I am working backwards from the digests I haven't looked at. Typically, if I have a pre-72 engine that is going to use a TF trans, we machine the back of the crank and install an adapter we make that doesn't require a spacer between the engine and trans. If you have an engine that is already built and has the small pilot bushing for the BW trans, you can make an adapter that presses into the smaller hole and then steps out the the TF diameter as well as the flex plate centering ring. This will require a spacer between the engine and trans to ensure the proper alignment and end play of the converter and starter. Nick Alfano Performance 4849-76 st. I'm not 100% sure on that so you should look into it. A lot of the AMC vendors sell those things and hopefully Nick Alfano will join in and correct me if i'm wrong.
