The wiring isn't a difficult change. The battery wire that goes to the starter needs to go to one side of the Ford solenoid, then you need another battery cable with lugs on each end to go between the Ford solenoid and the starter. The green wire attached to the GM starter solenoid goes to the "S" terminal on the Ford solenoid. You might need to extend the wire and possibly get a longer battery cable, but I think you can mount the Ford solenoid so that the wiring on the original starter will reach.Tom's engine must have come from a 69-71 donor.
