I'm trying to find out how the '68-9 AMX woodgrained steering wheel should be restored, in terms of colors. Did the original wheel have a satin or some other clear coating on the woodgrain? Did woodgrain (esp. the "grainy" part) cover the entire wheel? What sheen was the black/colored area behind the wheel? What about the black dots on the metal covering area? What about the aluminum/natural metal area. How shined up was this area? Thanks, Steve -- I am using the free version of SPAMfighter. We are a community of 6 million users fighting spam.
