I see it as not punishing themselves. Besides the annoyance of people wanting you to part a vehicle out that you either don't want to deal with (or can't), the scrap yard will actually pay you more if you time it right. I got nearly $400 each last year for a 327 Wagoneer and a 327 Gladiator that people would not buy for far less. If you can't pay more than the GARBAGE MAN for parts, it may be time to re-think one's strategy. -Spro -----Original Message----- From: amc-list-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:amc-list-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of tom jennings Sent: Saturday, November 07, 2009 6:50 PM To: AMC, Rambler, Nash, Jeep and family Subject: Re: [AMC-list] Why? Who do they think they're punishing? Try $100, no takers, try $50, then say "come and get it" a month later. Hell, having someone come get it for free is EASIER than taking it to the scrap yard! -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
