Contact Nick Alfano of Alfano Performance. His shop is in Kenosha. He can
help you put together a bulletproof pulling 401. Otherwise I think an
Edelbrock air gap intake with about a 600 cfm Holley vacumn secondary and a
good RV type cam will give you good mileage and more than adequate power.
You may wish to do a compression test and cylinder leak down test to assure
yourself that the engine is sound enough to hang different parts on it or if
it needs a complete overhaul. Does it still have good oil pressure at idle??
You could join the amc-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx or some of the Jeep forums and
those guys will give advice too.
