Cool, getting it sorted out is scary and fun! RockAuto has (had?) thermostats. Get stock Gremlin drums (or any 01 chassis), they're 9 x 2.5, doesn't sound like much of an increase but it's right there 30% bigger. Just use the same wheel cyls from a Gremlin and balance is *perfect*. They won't fit under the stock early AMerican wheels, but they will fit under any other AMC wheel...
