Jerry, Thanks. Yeah, this guy couldn't stop smiling he was so excited. He figured he would be happy with a mid 12 sec the first time out and running street tires at that. He couldn't believe the time sheet when he made it back because he didn't get good traction off the start + he was running through the full exhaust. Give me a call. If you can find someone in your area to do your short block, I can supply you with a whole engine package that would work out for your needs. The heads wouldn't be too bad to ship if you wanted me to set those up for you. Big thing is putting the right combination together. Even if you just need a little advice, that is fine.
