I just went out to the garage and wanted to reglued the aftermarket vinyl onto the passenger side door panel of my 65 American and discovered the hardboard had distingrated and softened from the moisture in that wet barn where the car was stored for so long. I immediately thought of substitutes too, which would be more durable. Fortuanately I have 4-door classic door panels which will fit perfectly and which I will re-dye to match the American interior tomorrow.
