Darn it, the radio got hot again just the other day and again doesn't work. > >What do y'all think? Bad voltage regulator (no other gauges have been affected, btw)? Grounded wire--car or radio? Dennis Gage's "My Classic Car" highlights vendors who do such a thing...but the cause of it all...any experience here or educated guesses? Sounds to me like a power transistor is bad. I might have a manual in pdf format somewhere for that radio (includes the schematic). I'll look around. dave stohler <das24rules@xxxxxxxxx> said: >the radio in my 62 classic still works, and also the one in my 63 american >works. i dont like to use them. I assume you mean "Scosche": http://www.scosche.com/products/sfID1/151/sfID2/152 I had one of their underdash kits in my Rambler American a while back. I would much rather install one of them than wear out the factory radio. -- Marc _______________________________________________ AMC-list mailing list AMC-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx http://list.amc-list.com/listinfo.cgi/amc-list-amc-list.com
