That explains his recent order of a batch of my "AMC Numbers Guide" books! Getting ready for the show.I've talked with Pat a number of times and have several of his books. A few I consider "required reading" for all AMC fans, especially his AMC history book "The Last Independent". "AMC Cars 1954-87, An Illustrated History" and "The Story of Jeep" are the other two must haves. The two history books are good companions -- the first one has a lot more text, the second fills in all the illustration gaps of the first. The Jeep book covers from the first Bantam concept through about 2000, with a lot of AMC related content that many of us wouldn't know about. He has a few others, like "The Metropolitan Story" (those are sold out, but I have an extra copy), that are good reading too.
