[AMC-list] block castings

hi again everyone, just one quick question are al the V-8 blocks the same outside casting size ? I'm getting my 401 back from the machine shop and didn't want to be putting it in and out of the engine compartment doing some other mock-ups, My friend has a junk 304 could I use this ???
