IIRC, the 1057 was 6 volt (used them in my '66 VeeDub van) and 1157 was 12 VDC.

What's the difference in these two tail-stop light bulbs? I have ended up with many 2057 (from dismantled cars and such) but it seems the old AMCs take the 1057 or 1056.
