I don't know where to get the part, but when I put power brakes on my 64 Rambler, I used a turnbuckle similar to one of this: http://xuguangsuoju.win.mofcom.gov.cn/www/5%5Cxuguangsuoju%5Cimg%5C20077994956.jpg I had my neighbor (welder) weld one end to the eye on they brake cylinder and the other end to the brake pedal and just spun the center around until it was were I wanted it and I put in a screw to stop it from spinning. One hook has left handed threads so that both hooks go in when you spin the center piece. ------------------------------ Message: 3 Date: Sun, 24 May 2009 11:51:32 -0500 From: "Eddie Stakes" <eddiestakes@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Subject: [AMC-list] Fw: brake booster Part needed To: <baadassGremlins@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>, <amc-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx> Cc: Shal Winter <kylesmommy67@xxxxxxxxx> Message-ID: <25D30F904275401BA0E965EEFED52AC6@piageedc1iqa5q> Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" The folks below are looking for a brake booster part, if anyone has one or can point them in right direction please feel free to comment and thanks in advance to all who might, be sure to copy your reply to them also. Eddie Stakes 713.464.8825 eddiestakes@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx www.planethoustonamx.com ----- Original Message ----- From: Shal Winter kylesmommy67@xxxxxxxxx We are wondering if you have the part that goes from the brake petal to brake booster part for a 1968 AMC Javelin 232 6 cylinder car? Or if you know where else we can find one. It does have a break booster and master cylinder. We need the rod and the pin that goes to the brake. Thanks so much! _____________________________________________________________ Are you prepared for your exam 4TestsMail - Free email you can access from anywhere! http://www.4testsmail.com/ _______________________________________________ AMC-list mailing list AMC-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx http://list.amc-list.com/listinfo.cgi/amc-list-amc-list.com
