Mine's hardboard. Just one big piece of something or other - definately not cloth and hangers! Paint sounds just fine. I might try just gently cleaning it first - but if that doesn't pain out - it's paint! I painted the hardboard headliner in mine as it was too far gone to get cleaned and looking good.I used a plain simple latex paint and had a mildewcide to keep things fromgrowning up there while in storage. You can pick sheen to suit your taste, paint is cheap, I used a smooth foamroller.Mine has been done for about 10 years now and still looks like the day I didit. If you do this be careful not to push the visors up against the headliner asthe paint wanted to stick right where the edges of the visors touched, Ihave like two little spots that need touched up, someday. They are not evennoticeable to anyone but me._______________________________________________ AMC-list mailing list AMC-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx http://list.amc-list.com/listinfo.cgi/amc-list-amc-list.com
