I would first check your flywheel carefully all the way around. Then order just the starter drive for an AMC. 

NAPA part numbers are Balkamp 656-1059 is the drive and Echlin SF111 is the lock ring kit.

So what do I do differently with the parts house to ensure I get a Jeep starter? Obviously I am already giving all the jeep info.

OR.......do I bag the parts house all together and go to a Quadratec kind of place? The thing I don't like about these places is warranty and returns are a huge hassle.
