Some did, some didn't. Postal Jeeps continued the rocker shaft (my son's '75 has the shaft rocker AND a BW large pattern auto!)

See the link below for a rocker arm shaft listed as '74 AMC I6.? Didn't '74 have bridged rocker arms, not a rocker shaft?
