I'm talking a abit out of my a** here, as I have very little experience with foamed dash pads in general, mainly the ones in our hornets. But they are a vinyl skin, with a foamed-in-place center. Though it would be a PITA, I think a way to adjust it's shape without midifying any part would to rout out foam from the INSIDE in the area where it needs to be smaller to clear; a hair dryer outside would let you soften the vinyl and push in to where you remove foam. YOu could even do a foamectomy with an exacto, take out a pie-shaped slice from the middle of the foam, superglue the gap, and press it together. Since all this ugliness is inside the foam, behind the vinyl, it would be invisible. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
