Joe, I surrendered on installing the roll down 1/4 glass. I made a quick attempt to make the track extensions and realized that in my current condition they would be a PIA for me to get working. Just to many variables and such tight spaces to adjust and fiddle with things to make them work. Yesterday, I moved the two pieces of glass with the least amount of scratches to the fixed base channel and put them in fixed again. If you run across those track pieces I'd still buy them, but I doubt I'll ever tear that back apart again! Good thing is that after 10 years the repair work is still virtually rust free on the back side! I added a layer of bedliner spray to help seal it up a touch better and will be going back together with the inner panels and such later this week in the evenings. Peter Stathes made me up some wiper style window sweeps and they are AWESOME! They should keep a lot more crap out that the old felt style does. Not correct for a resto, but I recommend them to anyone who uses theirs as a driver! Also found a leaking heater core on Saturday. Ordered a new one from Advance and a seal set from Detroit tech to redo the heater box. Thanks to Matt for getting those seals made up! My current goal is to have the car back on the road before I leave on vacation on August 16th. I should have waited till fall, but after seeing the heater core dripping coolant under the mat I realize it is a good thing I tore it down, plus I did not tear it down it was free labor from my boys! Who BOTH have jobs for the first time, at the same time! Mark, Did a 65 330 2-door sedan have those roll-down windows? If so, I might have the parts. I parted one out a couple of years ago and sold the whole quarter panels so I know I removed those parts, but I don't know whether I would have cut them with the Sawzall.
