Good info except for one thing -- the M-35 doesn't have a vacuum modulator, but there is an internal modulator valve. Pre 65 M-8 has a vacuum modulator, and M-4x does, but I don't think any of the M-3x series does. 65-66 M-8s have a vacuum reference point as well as a TV cable, but not an external vacuum modulator like later and earlier models.

so, you would have the m35 borg warner transmission. it also goes by the T35.
i know ebay has the rebuild kits for them listed. i have a 63 rambler with
the same thing. you should be able to find the modulator somewhere
