That looks promising! My father-in-law was paraplegic, and had a hard time transferring from a wheelchair into the front seat of his '76 Chevy and mid 80's Grand Prix. He was able to drive them using hand-controls, but it was tough getting in and out. When he finally got a wheelchair accessible mini-van, he gained a LOT in mobility. He could go out, lower the van (it was on air bags), slide the ramp out via remote control, wheel in, lock his wheelchair behind the driver's wheel - and was off! Had a handcontrol for gas and brakes and suicide knob. The MV1 looks like it might be pretty cool! Ugly as sin, but pretty cool. Not sure how well it would sell. I was chatting with a sales man at our local mobility store. They sell converted minivans. They tried selling some based on the Scion XB, but had extremely limited sales (too small). I think they also tried them on the Honda Element. They did well with Ford and Chrysler based minivans - but the smaller converted vehicles got discontinued quickly.
