o ya, and by the way, i have only seen 1 optima battery go bad. i did a good move on it. guy i work for had it sittin for a couple years, and fried it. i talked him into givin it to me. took it to my buddies at the auto parts store i go to, and they swapped me out a brand new one no questions. hehe. was the heavy duty red top. optimas i have noticed, when they are dead, they take a long while to take a charge. not sure if that has something to do with the way the cells are designed with the gell or what ever, but they always take only a little charge, and slowly at first when they are dead. i wouldnt worry about the battery unless it goes dead with the car not running or anythingalso. dave stohler
