Yeah, if you want exact replacement that would be the best choice, it's smooth on one side, rough on the other. In my Classic, I used "masonite" or whatever it's really called, from a lumber yard. The stuff that pegboard is made from. I used the thinner stuff. But I was fabricating all door panels from scratch, since I require that all my cars had a previous owner that left the windows open rain and shine (must be my rule, since they all did). The American I used .040" aluminum. I'm real happy with it, I can't believe it's not used more often. I was going for a 60's aerospace look and aluminum and glass is all about that! The Hornet, I had a local upholstery shop do the work, they used very thin plywood.
