Sounds a little extreme to me. In addition to it being like riding around with an extra passenger all the time, it also has a low gear. If you're going to end up driving it like a 5-speed anyway, why not the cheaper and more common 4500? -Spro -----Original Message----- From: amc-list-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:amc-list-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Jim Blair Sent: Monday, June 15, 2009 12:04 PM To: amc-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [AMC-list] NV5600 question I'm thinking about putting one of these transmissions in my '82 J10 stepside I recently acquired. (since it will be a daily driver, the low axle gears and T18A won't make $3 a gallon gasoline fun to put in) T5 is too weak for my 360 (I will probably put my '77 AMX 304 in there later) Jim Blair, Lynnwood, WA '87 Comanche, '83 Jeep J10, '84 Jeep J10 _________________________________________________________________ Lauren found her dream laptop.
