AMC 15 or 20: Easy! The AMC 15 has a fill plug in the rear cover, the AMC 20 rear cover is smooth (no plug) -- the fill plug is in the casting near the pinion shaft in front. It's on the right side, I think... (remember, side of a car is from driver's point of view).
BW or TF trans: The shift lever on the transmission is vertical on a BW (shaft it attaches to comes OUT from the side, or is horizontal), the shift lever for a TF is horizontal (attaches to a vertical shaft that comes UP from the flange in the case just above the pan).

Okay, dumb a** attack, I have the Javelin sitting next to the Spirit, duh. I compared the differentials to see what's what. Thanks anyway! I know there's websites that show the trans pan for the different torqueflites, just haven't found it again.
