Eddie Stakes 713.464.8825 eddiestakes@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx www.planethoustonamx.com ----- Original Message ----- From: chris pomykala ivanpomy@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Eddie thank you for all your info from our phone conversation. The car in question is a 1969 amx 390 4 speed with a/c (deleted) and power disc brakes (soon to be deleted). The car is used for spirited street driving, open track road racing events as well as 1/4 mile fun. The 390 has been rebuilt with all the goodies. The main concern at this point is the power brakes. They dont seem to get along with my cam (p/n 10-21-4 comp pulls 5" @idle) specs 244 dur@ .050 and 518"lift (seehttp://www.socalamc.com/forum/index.php?topic=229.0 for more info). Now due to my usage I want just good ole fashion manual brakes.. Can you help with some part #'s and a few questions I have. 1. will the power brake pedal work ? 2. do I need a adaptor bracket to mount the master cylinder? 3. What push rod do I need? All the lines and the proportioning valve will not be an issue, because I can make lines and will be running an adjustable proportioning valve Thanks for any info..
