The hardtop-specific door seals should now be available from Restoration Specialties. This is the odd shaped seals around the crankup window, front and rear, and the leading edge of the wing window. MONTHS ago I sent them my crapped up old ones, drawings and worked out what will hopefully be a solution. They won't be exactly stock (concours stock). The 63, anyways, part of the seal is steel backed and screwed in, part is flexible and glued in. These will be all glue-in. Should work 100% though. It's been nearly 6 months of me calling every week or two. I have sympathy though, it's not a big market, and it's a lot of detail work. I'd have liked them by winter, but I'm not unhappy. They never lied to me, it just took a long time. Nice small family run business. Probably run about $5/foot I was told. I should have mine "real soon now". I'll let you know how it works out. Right now I have no seals (rotten, and sent to RS) so it's noisy in there and leaks like crazy when it rains! New seals, just in time for the dry season. The rest of the door seals are easy enough to get. http://www.restorationspecialties.com _______________________________________________ Amc-list mailing list Amc-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx http://splatter.wps.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/amc-list
