This is a Italian link to a fellow who has a mess of original old car commercials and what not. While some are on youtube, many you have to order, but can be found state side also. Still, you can waste a few hours like I did simply looking at the youtube AMC commercials. There is Mopar, GM, Ford, all of them, and a nice looking Pontiac dealership from 1960s loaded with iron; won't ever see that again. I also remember Wile E. Coyote in the Plymouth Roadrunner commercials. AMC had a 'beep, beep, your a**!' decals they used to give away in 1969, showing Wile E strangling the Roadrunner, whoses eyes were bulging out; the significance was Wile E was the Javelin/Rebel from AMC, and of course the Roadrunner was Plymouth. Too bad AMC didn't actually use Wile E Coyote Warners Brothers character for one of their models, but came close with Speedy Gonzalez for the Rebel, that would have been cool as a mascot! Here, go look thru the archives,a nd special thanks to Randy Tate for this Italian link of American Iron, Betty Boop and more: http://romanoarchives.altervista.org/ Eddie Stakes 713.464.8825 eddiestakes@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx www.planethoustonamx.com _______________________________________________ Amc-list mailing list Amc-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx http://splatter.wps.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/amc-list
