Oh yeah thanks for reminding me, the other big ticket item was the bigger axle bearings that could then be used. That's why the 9 inch ford end plates........ I think I was reading in NAMDRA's newsletter about a fellow who was using his Javelin or AMX for track days, and broke first his AMC 20 axles, then wnet to one piece aftermarket axles, which he also broke. His final solution was to do the ( inch conversion axle tubes, big bearings and better one piece axles. haven't heard if he broke them too or what.
