Okay, I let the garage get so full of junk that I can hardly move around in it. Which means it's time to purge. So before I pay some slobbering idiot in a truck held together with spit and bailing wire to haul this stuff away, I thought I'd see if anybody here wants any of it. $1 each, plus the cost of shipping: * dipstick and dipstick tube from a 1982 258 * hood release cable and handle (not broken) from a Spirit * 2bbl carburetor from a 1979 258 * various heights of oil pump pickup tubes from 258s and 4.0Ls * oil pumps from 258s and 4.0Ls * air cleaner assembly from either a '79 or '82 258 * engine mounts from a '93 XJ, 4.0L * trailer mirrors from a '63 J-200 * four-bladed fans (3 of 'em) from various 258s and a clutch-driven fan from a '93 XJ. Includes an assortment of spacers. * assorted pulleys from the above-mentioned engines * water necks from the above-mentioned 258s * sunvisors and miscellaneous interior stuff from a '93 XJ * I also have all the ball joints, idler arms, etc. left over from the suspension rebuild on my '79 AMX. I recall somebody on the list complaining that the new ball joints, idler arms, etc. are junk, and they'd only re-use old ones. Also, I still have the transmission from the '79 AMX (it was behind a six-cylinder, so that's a TF998, correct?). I'd prefer not to go through the hassle of shipping it, so that's free to anybody who's willing to come get it. Still have the torque converter and flexplate for it. Located in Bennington, VT. If you can't afford the dollar, I will trade for tiny trinkets and beads of no value. But only if you're Dutch. Note that this is part 1. Part 2 will come when I scrape away this layer of junk (er, I mean, useful parts) and can get to the next layer. I think there's some good stuff in the next layer. If you need pix, let me know. I am easily reached either at this email address or at danielstrohl@xxxxxxxxx thank you, dan _______________________________________________ Amc-list mailing list Amc-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx http://splatter.wps.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/amc-list
