I too did not attempt to rejoin Frans new forum.
I like most of the guys on both, but the larger number of irritants to me
seemed to head over to Frans.

Oh, the biggy for me is that theamcforum has an honest to higher beings six
cylinder section.
When Fran was asked to create one he scoffed at it.
Like it would have been so awful to create one and ignore it if he did not like
six cylinders?!

It's great with the start right up isn't it?  

The Forum you are trying to joing was, I think, Fran's old Forum.  Because
of the past problems, they have created an obstacle course as an application
form and, like you, I did not join.  There were some personalities on there that
irritated me too, so it's not big loss for me.  There is another forum and
I'm sure Wrambler (Mark) or Frank, or someone can give you the URL for it. 
It's much easier to join and is run by Bill Davidson? in Iowa who is
computer literate and is a perfectionist when it comes to machinery.  It's
really a pretty friendly group.
